Jeff is the son of a pastor and has witnessed the pains and suffering within the community when as a youngster he tagged along with his father during community outreach activities. Through these opportunities and his own personal experiences, Jeff learned that there is light in every darkness, hope in every despair, and possibilities in every situation. As a young child, Jeff had a dream of becoming a pastor. Over the years, he recognized the people that came into his life and helped him through difficult times and he realized that he wanted to continue in their legacy and found his passion in working with those that were hurting, struggling and suffering through life’s difficult moments.Jeff understands that everyone, even those within the same household, experience life and the world around them in a unique way. These individual experiences, past and present, have an impact on a person’s world view, daily life, and visions for the future.

Jeff graduated from Augsburg College in Minneapolis Minnesota with a Masters in Social Work degree. He is currently a licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Billings Montana. Jeff is a trauma-informed systems theory clinician and has over 25 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings (In-Home, Out-Patient, Public Schools, Residential Treatment, and Correctional Facilities). His clinical experience includes working in Montana, Minnesota, and Oregon.Jeff and Susie share a blended family and enjoy the outdoors; camping, hiking, snowshoeing, and exploring. They also enjoy traveling, sharing time with their family - including five children and 11 grandchildren.
